"I've titled this photo series for myself as 'One Day, I Met Katya.' I stepped into the frame with a stranger, a sweet and delicate girl, or so she seemed at first glance. We took the first few shots, and she showed me some of them on the camera screen. That was all it took for us to understand each other perfectly. I trusted her and opened up. In my eyes, Katya transformed from a delicate stranger into a true professional, someone who knows her craft and thinks ahead.

I didn’t have to come up with anything; I just smiled and interacted with myself, just like I do every day in front of the mirror as part of my daily feminine ritual—but with Katya, it felt like therapy. Freedom. Being myself. For days now, I’ve been looking over the results of our work, and out of the 300 photos, I can't bring myself to delete a single one. I’m so happy to have met you, Katya!
